What is Captain.tv?
· Captain.tv makes streamer-led games for streamers to play with their viewers.
The streamer becomes the Captain and their viewers make up their crew.
What is Stream Raiders?
· Stream Raiders is a community battle game that lets streamers play with their viewers alongside their main content—live on Twitch! The streamer is the "Captain" and their viewers make up the army. Progress through campaign maps together to collect rewards, unlock new units, and level up your army!
I'm a streamer. How can I host battles to play with my Viewers?
· To become a Captain and host battles for your Community head to streamraiders.com and log in with your Twitch account. Your channel will need at least 100 followers to qualify.
I'm already a Captain. How do I become a Partner and get my own skin featured in Stream Raiders?
· In order to have custom skins in Stream Raiders you must be a Captain.tv Affiliate or Partner.
· You can learn more about Captain.tv Affiliates and Partners in the Partner Program channel on our Discord.

· Choose Your Captain (Streamer)
· Drop a Unit every 5 minutes until the battle is ready
· Earn Rewards to Unlock and Upgrade your units
You can learn more about how to play Stream Raiders here.
I see other people placing bigger units. How do I get my hands on those?
· Those are our EPIC units, which have more health and do more damage. As you place units, you earn potions. When you have accrued 45 potions, you can then upgrade a unit to EPIC status.
Can I play Stream Raiders on mobile?
· You can! Mobile support is in beta, and you can play by going to https://www.streamraiders.com on your mobile device's browser.
All I see is "Waiting for Captain"! How do I play?
· Your Captain is either choosing their next battle or hasn't started the battle yet. Once the Captain does either, you'll be ready to place your Units.
How many Captains (streamers) can I join at once?
· During the Beta you can join 3 captains at a time (4 during events with a Battle Pass purchase). You may leave a Captain by clicking the red X, but you will lose any rewards if you have placed units in a pending battle.
Why is my Captain and Viewer progression different?
· Because the gameplay experience varied between playing as a Captain and playing as a viewer. We separate the progression paths to ensure that we can balance each properly. Any purchased or gifted skins should carry over across your Captain and viewer account, but skins earned through progress, such as Battle Pass skins, will not transfer.
Is there a downloadable client?
· The downloadable client is currently for Captains only.
I have feedback or want to report a bug. Where would I do that?
· We love feedback so if you have something to suggest we want to hear it! If you've found a bug in Stream Raiders, we'd also love to hear about it. Please contact us.

Hey there! If you're looking at this article, you probably need some help. Please read on for solutions to the most common problems. If you don't find your answer here, please contact us, and we'll get you sorted.
Game/Website Stuck Loading/Can't Login
One of these things will usually solve a loading problem:
· Clear any Captain.tv related stuff out of your browser history/cache
· Delete site data for streamraiders.com in your browser
· Open the site in an incognito tab
· Try another browser (Firefox, Chrome)
· Give it more time to load (the game can take a bit to load on slow connections, specifically non-US connections)
· Try toggling Hardware Acceleration for your browser
· Try disabling any custom add-ons or extensions you may have, especially those provided by anti-virus software
· Completely black screen? Make sure your browser and graphics card drivers are up to date.
· If you are a streamer and having trouble loading the desktop app, please uninstall from Add/Remove Programs on Windows, and do a fresh download and install from here.
· On Desktop, make sure your browser has WebGL enabled, check here.
Streaming Software not Capturing the Desktop App
· Make sure you are using Game Capture and NOT Window Capture
· Make sure you have the app set up as a separate source with the source pointing directly toward the app
· If Game Capture still isn't finding it, try restarting the Stream Raiders app
Units stuck/Not moving
· Often units not moving is due to them being in a defensive (purple) zone. Units in a defensive zone will hold their ground unless approached by an enemy. These units will release from their defensive stance after a while
· If units are stuck from a pathfinding issue, they will often figure it out eventually. If they are permanently stuck, you must wait until the end of the battle. A timer will appear showing you how much time is left. The side with the most units will win.
Note: Exiting the battle will not help. It will make you play out the battle again from the beginning, with the same results.
Playing Stream Raiders on an iPad
For mobile devices and iPad's, we have a more lightweight version of the game that runs better on those devices. Usually mobile browsers pick up on this and automatically open the correct version of the game, but we're still working through some kinks on iPads. In this case, you can ask Safari to "Request Mobile Website" button in the dropdown menu.
Access Developer Console logs in Chrome
· Right-click on the webpage they are interested in
· In the context menu, click the Inspect option. This will open the Developer Window
· Click the tab labeled Console. This will show you all the logs our game sends to the browser
Once there, a user can either screenshot red error logs or copy the entire contents and share that with us to troubleshoot any bugs.
Clicking "X" on a Game Window Doesn't Close the Window
· If a Window is stuck and unable to be closed, ensure a gamepad or controller isn't plugged into your PC. If so, simply unplug the gamepad or controller to close the in-game Window
Profile Picture and/or Twitch Name not updating after a change
· Log out of the hub on Captain.tv
· Log out of Stream Raiders
· Log back into Stream Raiders
